About Chris Beck

Serendipitous visual discoveries have always played a part in my choice of subjects, and I have always had a fondness for the silly and the whimsical. Watercolor is my first love, but I also work in collage and acrylics and I enjoy experimenting with new materials and new approaches. Although I paint a variety of subjects, color and pattern are the main things that drive my artistic interests. I like to mix strong design with a wealth of detail to delight the eye.
