Artist directories
We print 40,000 full-color directories that show case your work. They're free to the public and professional distributed to more than 400 pick-up points throughout Silicon Valley.
Your web page
Each artist has their own page on our web site (www.svos.org) and it's there all year. You can display three images of your artwork along with your artist's statement. In addition, there are maps showing the location or each open studio site where you will be showing your art.
More exhibits
Whenever possible we have preview exhibits in the months leading up to the May event. These are displayed in high-traffic public areas and are used to promote Silicon Valley Open Studios by showing many samples of the great art that can be seen. We try to get as many artists as possible into one of these shows.
We also host SVOS Invitational shows at other times during the year as a means of keeping the Silicon Valley Open Studios name in public view throughout the year. Here, we invite those artists who have demonstrated outstanding ability in an ongoing body of work to participate in these shows.
SVOS University
Participating artists are eligible to attend a series of free seminars in preparation for the May event. Here's your chance to get tips and advice from experienced artists about how to get the most from your open studios experience. Topics include how to market yourself, how to prepare your studio, and how to price your work.
Promotional support
Along with our professional PR firm, Three Girls Media and Marketing, we support your marketing efforts by promoting the overall event with press and media placements, pre-printed post cards, posters and signs. We also have fliers that you can download and distribute in your own neighborhood. We also publize using e-mail and our social networking sites; Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin.

There is no cost to join the Yahoo Groups for Artists and you are not obligated to register for Silicon Valley Open Studios. You can also use this to post questions about Silicon Valley Open Studios.
