Trudy Myrrh Reagan, known to the Art World as “Myrrh”, has been a professional artist in Palo Alto for more than 50 years. She is best known as founder of YLEM: Artists Using Science and Technology in 1981. She has made science the foundation of her art, exploring it in printmaking, batik, shibori, painting, and crumpled-paper landscapes, as well as in assemblages of retro electronics.
Her round “Essential Mysteries” paintings treat questions that scientists investigate, but never fully answer. Her concern for humanity shows in other paintings and drawings. Truly, a Silicon Valley artist!
