I explore water (waves, clouds, rain, glaciers, icebergs and waterfalls) as it cycles through the natural environment. In paintings, prints, and large public installations, I celebrate the beauty of simultaneously regenerative and destructive earth cycles. I am interested in the interdependence and resonance between the natural elements and human experience. When I create, I see us in it.
My work has been exhibited and collected internationally, including at museums, galleries, universities, and U.S. Embassies. Awards include a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts and artist residency in Denali National Park, Alaska.
