Born in Paris, France in 1972, Flo de Bretagne moved to California in 2006 and has participated in Silicon Valley Open Studios for the past ten years. She has also exhibited with galleries and museums on both continents (Among many others: the Los Gatos Museum, the SF MOMA Artists’ Gallery, Living with Art Art Gallery in NYC, and la Galerie des Saint-Pères in Paris). Her work can be found in major collections, both private and public, in the US, Japan, France, Sweden, Hungaria, Mexico, and many other countries. Flo de Bretagne’s paintings represent emblematic animals and fruitful seeds. They all represent a heavenly world filled with magnificent creatures and seeds that will give new life. They are clearly a message of hope and happy future in a world that so desperately needs light.
Besides her studio work, Bretagne is an accomplished muralist who painted over
70 murals mostly at schools throughout the San Francisco Bay Area in the past 7 years.
