I make photographs to capture unique moments. I’ve been on the road with nowhere to pull over to take photographs, and have spent miles in regret. And other times when I was the passenger, known to beg the driver to pull over or do a u-turn for the same reason.
In the right light, ordinary things take on extraordinary form. And in the daily scheme of things, no matter where you are, there’s so much worth our acknowledgement, even if just in the form of keen observation. I’m especially drawn to the abstraction in well-worn layers, textures, & patterns that provoke the senses.
For me, photographs are visual narratives of things that touch, provoke, enlighten, amuse, and surprise us.
