“Come see my new images of Santorini, Greece!“
The Life magazine published my first photograph in the “Pictures to the Editor” column in 1972. Since then, my landscapes have been displayed at local galleries, corporations and art shows. The US Embassy in New Delhi, India held a solo exhibit of my American Landscapes in 2008. My images have won the “Best of the Show” award and other prizes in various shows/contests. I have images from the US, Nepal, New Zealand, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Greece and India.
For me, landscape photography is a calming, spiritual experience. There is a lot of solitude, time to reflect, and commune with nature. I strongly believe that photography is more about seeing rather than about technology. This right brain activity brings more balance to my life, which has been filled with mostly left brain activities.
I now have large(30x45) frameless images printed on metal that are simply stunning. The images I print on paper are estimated to last 80 years as per testing done by Wihlem Research. Sizes vary from 11x14 to 30x40 inches mat size. I use archival mat boards and tapes to mat my images, and I can provide wood or metal frames.
