Nature is my inspiration - what I have seen, mingled with what I’m feeling. I like to feel the colors I work with. I create using palette knives, brushes, sponges, bottle tops - anything that seems like it would leave an interesting mark on the canvas. Each painting embodies different emotions, and I express these through color and movement with oils on canvas.
Subject matter drifts pending on how I feel. My thinking evolves as I work with the colors and movement of the paint on the canvas. For the most part I am self-taught, ever grateful for the guidance of Sagi Erez. Her approach to art is very liberating. I learned to paint outside the box! Knowing that I have a loving, safe environment to express myself with guidance keeps me motivated. The friendships I have developed in the studio keep me coming back to art feeling renewed and supported.
My hope is to share the artistic journey I have been with the people who view my work.
