About Carol Worthington-Levy

As an explorer of color, shape and texture/pattern, I infuse all of my artwork with consistency and excitement.

My work in acrylic and watercolor is not 'traditional' but rather it's color-charged with strong brushstrokes. My subject matter is subjective and occasionally near-abstract but there are always human or animal elements, even occasionally dipping into the primitive or, on the other end of an historical timeline, pop art. I often work in a series that gives me a chance to explore subjects and treatments, becoming more interesting and evocative as the series continues.

Often there are stories behind my paintings that are easy to relate to, adding to the depth of the viewer's experience. This inquiry of my subject that invoke smiles, conversation, and often joy.

In my photography work, you’ll notice the contrast and design That makes each photo timeless and compelling. I treat the viewer to drama and excitement in both black-and-white and in color work. My photography pricing is lower than the paintings since they’re printed.
