I’ve searched for materials and still life objects for my art students for thirty-three years. After retiring I carried on the desire to gather except it was for my own art. I’m always looking for tidbits of metal, architectural details, wood and anything with a history. I seem to be able to look beyond the simple surface of things. I see how objects can be reused or turned into something more personal. With my extra time and energy, I enjoy creating mixed media jewelry and sculptures with new life and purposes. In addition I have recently started to do small watercolors from my photographs. I enjoy bringing out textures and details in my landscapes.
