I find sanctuary in working with clay. As I explore forms, colors and textures, in many ways, pottery mimics life in the way that it spins around us. When we can slow it down, it becomes a collaborative effort. The end product may not be exactly what I envisioned, but we work toward the hope of creating a better version. My forms, textures, and colors have been developed over many years of experimentation and inspiration drawn from friends, colleagues and artists. Ceramic techniques and process may not be new concepts, but my work is the expression of my aesthetics, culture and love.
